We have just received the good news that the Pope will beatify 58 Brothers on the 28th of October 2007. This is the final step before declaring them Saints.
They are all martyrs, that is, they gave their lives in defence of their faith and their identity as Brothers during the religious persecution that took place in Spain between 1934-1939.
Brother Alvaro, our Superior General, has sent the worldwide Lasallian Family the following letter concerning this joyous celebration:
