Lasallian Thought For The Day

Throw yourself into God’s arms; He is your Father and He will carry you when the road is rough.

St. John Baptist De La Salle

Message from the Head of the Hong Kong Lasallian Family

Hello Hong Kong Lasallian Family!

Can you believe it? The 2025–2026 school year is officially done! It’s time to put the books away, log out of the online portals, and do a collective cheer because summer is finally here!

Before we dive into the sunny days of July and August, we need to stop and give a huge, heartfelt “THANK YOU” to the amazing anchors of our schools—the Brothers, school supervisors, principals, school administrators, and teachers. All through this past school year, you have been a beacon and an inspiration to our community. Your “good work done” has truly touched our hearts and changed our minds. We are so very thankful for all the love you give to our schools every day!

Wonderful students, summer is officially your time to shine outside the classroom! So use this summer break to recharge, explore, and grow. That’s your challenge for the next few weeks. Make beautiful memories with your parents, grandparents, and siblings. Enjoy some family meals, have a few laughs, and appreciate the people who love you most. Don’t spend your summer just scrolling on your phones. Start a hobby you’ve always wanted to try. Learn a new language. Play an instrument. Attend a sports camp. Program a small application. Learn to cook. Keep that good mind inquisitive.

The heart of a true Lasallian is never on vacation from serving others. Make an intentional effort to assist those in need in your community. Volunteer, help an elderly neighbor, or be a listening ear for someone going through a tough time. Small acts of love can make a big difference. We want you to walk back through our school gates in September 2026 feeling energized, focused, and ready to conquer a brand-new school year.

See you soon!

Fraternally yours,

Br Dennis Magbanua FSC
