Lasallian Thought For The Day

Throw yourself into God’s arms; He is your Father and He will carry you when the road is rough.

St. John Baptist De La Salle

Message From The Director

Dear Lasallians,

I pray everyone has a wonderful Easter!

One of the most significant events in the Christian faith is the resurrection of Jesus from the grave, and Easter serves as a potent reminder of this significant event.

Rebirth and redemption are two concepts that we associate with Easter. Through the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, we were given the opportunity to witness the triumph of life over death, light over darkness, and hope over grief. The love that God the Father has for us is so great that he chose to offer his one and only Son as a means of guiding us back to him.

Instead, let us take some time to reflect on what Easter actually means to each of us. This Easter, we are called to change and to be renewed. It is my hope that we will rise to this challenge and demonstrate love and compassion by serving our brothers and sisters who are less fortunate, as Lasallians ought to be and continue to be.

I wish each and every one of you a great Easter that is filled with love and hope!

Yours in Saint John Baptist de La Salle,

Fraternally yours,

Brother Dennis Magbanua
Head of Hong Kong Lasallian Family
