Lasallian Thought For The Day

Throw yourself into God’s arms; He is your Father and He will carry you when the road is rough.

St. John Baptist De La Salle

Message from the Head of the Hong Kong Lasallian Family

Welcome to the 2026-2027 School Year! The sunny days of July and August are over now, and I hope your summer break was filled with deep rest, great joy, and memorable experiences. Whatever you did over the last two months—making sweet memories with your families, leveling up with a new skill, or lending a helping hand—we hope your hearts are full and your spirits recharged. Now that September 2026 is here, let’s open a whole new chapter together!
To our wonderful students: The school gates are now open, and your classrooms are ready. The new school year is a blank slate, full of infinite possibilities. I encourage you to bring the curiosity, energy, and kindness you cultivated over the summer into the halls and playgrounds of your school. As you transition into a new grade or prepare for your last senior milestone, remember, you are never walking this path alone. There’s a whole community behind you that believes in your power and potential.
To our dedicated staff: I also warmly welcome back and thank our school supervisors, principals, and other school administrators and staff. Thank you for all the hard work and dedication you have already put in to get our schools ready for this coming year. The real anchor of our Lasallian family is your continued dedication to teaching minds, touching hearts, and transforming lives.
As we enter the threshold of this new academic year, let us bring our core Lasallian values to all that we do:
Faith: Believing in the strength God has given to each of us and trusting His guidance.Zeal: Giving our best in our studies, sports, arts, and daily living.Community: Supporting one another, being inclusive, and ensuring our schools are true sanctuaries of belonging.
Let’s make the 2026–2027 school year our happiest, most supportive, and inspiring year yet. Welcome back, everyone!

Fraternally yours,

Br Dennis Magbanua FSC
